Desert Places by Robert Frost

The world is a different place now than it was when these stories where written. The men and women in these stories had very strong convictions and stuck by them. We of this age are not like that. We are persuaded by nothing. Therefore I believe that the need for heroics in our world is much more needed but less facilitated. I feel that ours is an anti-heroic age. The world is in dire need of a hero.
