A nation is a group of people who have common set of values, common language and common culture and religion, a group of people who have similarities and sense of connection. They want to be separate, to have their own state and to govern themselves. According to J.T. Rourke and M.A.Boyer “another thing that helps define a nation is its feeling of community. For all the similarities a group might have, it is not a nation unless it feels like one. Those within a group must perceive that they share similarities and bound together by them” (86).
Another division that characterizes traditional global politics is nationalism. Nationalism is when an individual becomes sentimentally attached to the homeland, gain a sense of identity and self-esteem through their national identification and motivated...
