took my cultural mentor to the library. It was raining that day and we sat and talked for a long time. Faith has been my friend for almost a year now, and I did not know much about her family life, until now. I knew she had been beaten for her faith, but that was it. When gave her testimony in chapel once, last year, at the beginning of the semester which was where I first saw her. And that was all I knew about her life.
Coming from a Buddhist background, she explained the way a Buddhist would looked at biological birth. She said that it is a reincarnation birth. Anything can be reincarnated. People who have been to hell are supposed to work their way to heaven. I did not ask her at the time about how they would know that they came from Hell, or not, but it seems like everyone is working for heaven, so who knows. Unless they work to go to heaven just in case they came from hell. I do not know. And there is a myth that women receive help from the god of fertility.
