Cultural Events

At the beginning of the semester, I had to choose if I wanted to go to workshops or cultural events, in my university 105 class. I picked the cultural events. I decided to go to cultural events held by the BCC.
One of the events I attended was a man that talked about his experiences with martin Luther King Jr. His name was Dr. Sonnie Hereford, M.D. During the session, he also showed a film of the march that happened in Huntsville, Alabama. The only other person that I know that is like him is my great aunt Bessie. She was a good friend with Rosa Parks.
Dr. Carl Owens presented another one of the events that I attended. It was a multimedia presentation with new computer technology. I think that his presentation was very informative. One thing that I really liked about the presentation was he made a slide show. The slide show had had pictures of people that attended the meeting.
