CULTURAL DIVERSITY

Introduction
Do we fully understand the meaning of cultural diversity? Do we really comprehend the extent of this simple phrase? Who says that we have not been blinded by our own beliefs and are now trying to mold the world in our own image? When we talk about diversity we should be able to talk about culture, culture grouping, discrimination and minorities of any kind. Let us start by breaking this into two parts. Culture means the actions, beliefs, and behavior within a certain group. Diversity on the other hand plays a big role on any culture, and in so causing racism, minorities, and even discrimination. Cultural diversity has been happening for years and years through out the world with different cultures. We as the smarter species as the supreme race tend to stereo type any one that does not believe in what we do, and in what we stand for. Cultural diversity can happen anywhere and anytime as Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has proved by his controversial remarks.
