Creation vs. Evolution

How do you think the world came to be, a Big Bang or a process that took 7 days? If you believe in the Big Bang theory, what exploded and where did it come from?
The question is did God create the universe billions of years ago (in order to let the light naturally reach us) or did He create the universe fully functioning (with the light instantly visible to us)? In my opinion, creating a fully functioning universe is the most logical approach. For example, “If I wanted to make a botanical garden, I would not plant seeds and wait 30 years for the vegetation to mature before I opened it to the public. I would harvest fully mature vegetation and start out with a fully functioning garden.” (Bronson, 2001) It’s just more realistic.
As most people know, I was raised to read the Bible and to believe what it said about God and how He created the universe. But when I became old enough to think for myself I started to question religion and if God even existed. For a few years I had many...
