2.3 points: Some of the popular drinks in Costa Rica include: Horchata which is a cinnamon flavored cornmeal drink. Chan, a slimy drink made of seeds, Fresco de Frutas, which is basically a fruit salad floating on a base of kola and water. The beer in the nation is extremely popular to locals due to the high price of imported drinks. The most important drink to stay away from is the wine because they are not made from normal grapes and usually originate from blackberries or nance. The hangover for thse wines are extremely horrible.

4.2 points: Bocas are different types of food served with drinks usually along the lines of chicken wings or bean soup. Bocas are a slowly disappearing tradition in Costa Rica.
