Companions

In our lives we meet many people. Some we remember and call our friends, others pass and are called acquaintances. Yet those who instill a lasting impression of their support and confidence in us will always be, a companion. I was lucky enough to have had a person like this in my life to assist in showing me my true potential.
Charlene Farley was more than a family friend to me; she shared the same interests and ideals as I did. Char was a strong independent woman who knew that wherever her life took her, she would be able to adjust. She had been married and divorced twice, owned and managed a company, and always made sure she was a mother to her four children. She reached out to my family whenever we were in a predicament that seemed to have no solution.
