Since working in news, I’ve seen a lot of stories about a lot of people doing a lot of things and I often say to myself, “people need to study God’s word and ask Him for understanding.”
In their “responsibility to inform the public and maintain an objective opinion” the station covered a protest on the “Domestic Partners Bill.” As a single adult Christian hoping to marry someday, this bothered me.
For those of you who don’t know, should this bill pass in Connecticut, homosexual (gay) couples would be granted the same rights as heterosexual couples, thus leading to the legalization of gay marriages. This law has already passed in Vermont. The fact that such legislation exists is truly a sign of the times.
