3) Naturalism is when researchers study their subjects in the subject’s natural environment allowing all normal elements to be factored in the study. Phenomenology is having a researcher disregard prior beliefs or expectations of a subject and just observe what happens. The interpretive nature of study is the fact that the person conducting the study interprets the person’s actions instead of the person and observer.
