So rarely does one come across a piece that is so memorable. By memorable it is meant that a hefty amount of aspects of Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales ring true and resound stylistically and otherwise. Chaucer’s achievements with this specific piece are depicted eloquently and deserve as much literary merit in the present as it did when it was first published.
Chaucer possessed an immense skill in his ability to make detailed characters. All of which are fully rounded and have aspects, which display physical and human nature. Each character is unique and distinct with defining personalities which Chaucer has done a spectacular job at highlighting.
