Charlie's Aunt

Charley's Aunt is a three-act play written by Brandon Thomas. It contains six men and four women parts.

Charley's Aunt is about two young college men, Jack Chesney and Charles Wykeham, who are in love with two young girls. Jack is in love with Kitty Verdun, the ward of Stephen Spettigue, and Charley is in love with Spettigue's daughter, Amy. The two girls and Mr. Spettigue are planning on leaving for Scotland the next day, so the two find this their last chance to confess their love for the two girls.

The only problem is that Charley's Aunt, Donna Lucia D'Alvadorez, from Brazil ("Where the Nuts Come From" ļ) is coming to visit Charley. Charley has never seen this aunt before, all he knows is that she found him a place to stay when he was orphaned and that she is a Millionaire.

Since Charley has told the girls many things that he knows about his Aunt, they use this as a way to draw them to Jack's chambers so that they can be alone to confess their love.
