Characteristics of two of the main characters in Wuthering Heights.

Essay on the characteristics of 2 of the main characters in Wuthering Heights.

In this essay I am going to look at 4 of the characters in Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights. As Emily Bronte puts links, contrasting oxy-morons and pathetic fallacy into her creative writing it is going to be my job to un-code the meaning behind the astonishing story lines.

The first character I am going to look at would be Catherine Earnshaw. Catherine, in this book has several major traits that I am going to talk about. The first mannerism that I am going to look at would be on page 6 in chapter 2. In this first encounter we have of her she is regarded as cool, exceedingly embarrassing and disagreeable. This gives us the impression that she may not be the best of persons to be around as she can be quite brusque at times and quite an obnoxious person.
