Changes in golf equiptment

The game of golf has been around for hundreds of years. Golf was invented on the eastern coast of Scotland. At that time there were no titanium drivers or no long distance golf balls. The evolution of golf equipment has come a long way. Players can now hit the golf ball longer than people had ever though possible. This is largely due to the technology and changes of the golf equipment over the years.
There have been many changes in almost every facet of golf since it was first played. Most of these changes have come in the form of newer different and better clubs to harder and longer flying golf balls. The first golf clubs were made of wood. Todays are made of steel and titanium. Golf balls used to be made of feathers wrapped in leather. Today’s golf balls are made of high strength plastics that add distance to the drive.
