Change

Change could be a good thing. If not, life becomes too ordinary. But then again, change isn’t suitable for the ones not willing to take a risk.
This story takes place in India, during the times of the English conquest and settlement. This was a time of great change for the Indians. One of the changes was that the English diploma was more valuable than the Indian one, so Indians now had to attend an English school in order to obtain a successful future. The main characters in this story are Santha, who narrates the story from her flashback point of view, and her older sister, Premila.
