Evolution:
1.The fact that birds and bees have wings is homologous. This means that they are similar in structure. They may have similar base structures but different functions. Smaller wings may have been functional only on ancestors.
2.An acquired charactistic is that traits gained during a lifetime can be passed on to the next generation by genetic means. They change the genetic make up o f the organism. If one losses a leg, now all generations from then on will have one less leg.
