Capital Punishment

"Dead Man Walking!" This sound rings through each and every death row inmate a thousand times a day; should it? Capital punishment is one of the most hotly debated topics in our society today. The death penalty will do more good then harm, and will make the United States a better and safer place to live. Clearly, the usage of the death penalty will force crime to be unacceptable in our world and protect our citizens.
Since every person has there own opinion on this topic, either for or against, the question always raised is "Is it morally right?" Our constitution states that no one should be subjected to “Cruel or unusual punishment”. For some unknown reason people have a hard time determining whether being put to death is cruel or unusual.
