canterbury tales

The Canterbury Tales written by Geoffrey Chaucer, and A Knight's Tale written/directed/produced by Brian Helgeland, were created in two completely different eras. Chaucer wrote The Cantebury Tales between 1342 and 1400, while Hegleland produced his movie in 2001. The two of them lived almost 600 years apart, but managed to create similarities
that are evident in both pieces. It's almost like the two of them wrote their stories together. The similarities that are present in both pieces are plot, clothing, and characters.


The plots had some similarities to them. The two plots had a knight as one of the main characters. Chaucer had a knight journey to a shrine. While Hegleland had a knight battle in jousting competitions. The plots involved the Medieval era as a background. They involved knights and horses ...
