Brussels style EXPO 1958 in Brussels represents a kind of summation of architectural developments in the 1950s. Besides the use of the most current constructions innovations such as shell structures and curtain-wall technology, Brussels was also characterized by the numerous experiments with novel building materials – corrugated walls of aluminium and plastic, stained-glass windows and as one of “the strongest impressions,â€14 color.
