Break on Through

“People are strange when you’re a stranger, faces look ugly when you’re alone”, was the tone you would hear in L.A. during the 1960s. This was the time of the Vietnam War, but also a very important time for rock ‘n roll. Music was what all teens had in common. The Doors was a band present at this “make love, not war” time, but they were not singing this tune. They were telling people how to awake their dormant powers and use them. Morrison always said “There are many things known, and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors”. They attracted many, but how?
