Viewers are often opinionated on whether boot camps are appropriate for correcting juvenile delinquency. In this paper I will express the pros and cons of boot camps in society today.
A concerned mother named Shannon McCullough, noticed some changes in her fourteen year old daughter. Her daughter, Codi Rouvinen began to cut school. Shannon, like any other worried parent, confronted Codi, in which case she denied it. Shannon began to search for a boarding school or boot camp and found one, Dundee Ranch Academy. This school promised to get the girls on track. She said “The brochures made it sound like it was the answer to everything.” But was it? Shannon figured there was no other outlet, so she sent Codi to boarding school. Codi’s experience was one she’d never forget.
