FALLOUT by Juan Gonzalez

While exploring the HACC library in search of any book about environmental science, I randomly plucked this one from the shelf. I found Juan Gonzalez’s book, Fallout to be both interesting as well as painfully redundant. Basically, if you read the first chapter, you’ve read the entire book. Fallout is based on the ecological aftermath of the terrorist attacks of 911.
The reason I found it interesting is that it covered a lot of ecological problems caused by the attacks that many people probably still do not know about. When one considers the 911 terrorist attacks as far as ecological devastation, he/she most likely thinks of air pollution caused by smoke from the thousands of gallons of burning fuel. More often than not, a person will not give it a second thought.
