1. Synovial joints such as the hinge joint, ball and socket joint, and the gliding joint and will be used during the swimming event. The hinge joint will be performing flexion and extension, the ball in socket joint will be performing rotation and the gliding joint will be performing plantarflexion. The pivot joint is also being used and it will be performing supination and pronation.
