In the play Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare, Juliet is a childish young girl who tries and is being pushed to become a mature young woman. She is a teenage girl of the Capulet family. Juliet falls in love with Romeo who belongs to the Montague’s, the family her family despises. Throughout the play Juliet transforms in some ways into a mature adult but in some cases her childish actions shine through.
