Based on my personal experience of over 15 years of playing hockey at both the rep and house league levels, I have come up with the most precise guide for getting into your hockey equipment. There are many things that you have to do before you even get to the arena. The first step is to take inventory. In amateur hockey, there are many rules governing equipment. If a player does not have all the required items, they cannot play. The first thing you have to do is create a mental or written checklist. It is important to list all of the equipment that you must take with you to the arena. These items would include such items as shoulder pads, shin pads, pants, skates, sticks, elbow pads, helmet, neck protectors, tape, team jersey, and stockings until you make sure you have everything packed.
