Chamber Symphony


7, 2002, I attended the Kean Chamber Symphony. Out of all the songs, I liked Estancia Suite by Alberto Ginastera. Alberto Ginastera was Argentinean and was born in 1916 and died in 1983. Another one of his works were Variaciones Concertantes: The Final Movement: Allegro molto.
Estancia Suite was about a city boy, who tries to win the affection of a ranch girl, but is unable to compete with cowboys. The piece evoked a sense of competition and a great deal of emotion was shown through the music. It began very subtle and then in the end, began to get faster, louder, and striking.
