An objective argument for the uses of gene therapy is that it is a ‘True cure’ to illnesses. This argument is easily flawed, as one Moral argument against the use of gene therapy is that the embryos that are treated will need to be monitored for several decades afterward to note any kind of side effects that are caused by the gene therapy.
