Description/ Basic Content and themes:

Animal Farm, by George Orwell, is a fable which satires totalitarian regimes and refers to the betrayal of Russia’s Revolution (1917) by its leaders. It upheld many themes such as totaltarism, power vs. equality, corruption of government, and the ideology that absolute power corrupts absolutely. The main basis and moral of the plot implicates social structure and political corruption. The symbols of propaganda and hipocracy seem to also be present.
