the film ‘Proof,’ by Jocelyn Moorhouse, Martin’s obsessive search for proof is certainly justifiable but ultimately counter productive and misled. I completely agree with this statement. While his disability provides a sufficient reason for his obsession, it is the depth, stubbornness and single-minded desire for the truth, which is misguided.
