Giving Up and or Quitting as the Case May Be
Honest, I tried to have a 'quiet time' each morning in Alabama. It was rigorous self-discipline that did it, not enthusiam or joy or meeting a Person each day. I was praying through Peter Lord's "2959 Plan" - a nice prayer notebook. God did not answer my prayers in the affirmative, but it was a nice way to pray. We had a baby though, and that took care of the spare time for prayer in the AM. She was a sweetie. Two more came along. Sweeties, all.
