A Mother’s Recognition

My mother is a single parent. She says that being a mother is one of the most difficult responsibilities she has as a woman. And being a black,single woman makes it even more difficult. However, my mom makes the job seems so simple. I often think of her as my very own superhero because she's hardworking, independent, and supportive.
First of all, she is one of the most hardworking individuals I know .

For example, she is 40 years old and she is a full-time college student. She

attends Ascension College located in Gonzales. Her choice of study is

computer technical training. She begins her mornings promptly at 5:30. This

allows her adequate time to arrive to school on schedule because classes

start at 8 o’clock and the drive is approximately 45 minutes long. Also, after

she leaves school, she heads to her full-time job. She works at Our Lady of

the Lake Hospital as a licensed practical nurse. Her shift begins at 2 o’clock
