A hero with a thousand faces "Finding Nemo"

Joseph Campbell has spent his outstanding life finding and mapping out the myths from all over the world that seemed to be built from the same “elementary ideas.” Gradually, all there is, is one story being told and retold in all sorts of different languages, times, names, and costumes, all stories are the same, which he named “The hero’s Journey,” or the “monomyth.” Campbell had written a book called The hero with a thousand faces which gathered the themes behind countless hero stories into one universal structure. His hero’s journey framework is now also applicable to movies and had indeed served as both inspiration and blueprint for his friend George Luca’s movie Star Wars. Chris Vogler a former Disney story analyst worked out a system for analyzing stories based on Campbell’s work.
