A foreign Affair

In the film A Foreign Affair, Ms. Frost is initially portrayed as a conservative woman with strong political and moral beliefs. As the small town congresswoman from Iowa steps off the plane, she is greeted by American soldiers. Throughout the film she gradually becomes more permissive to the things she once despised, and her character develops from there. By the end of the film she partakes in a number of things she frowned upon in the beginning. Her character symbolizes the changes in society at the time and the demise of societal morale.
