A Flood

A FLOOD

It was raining heavily. The boys at Cherton Boys School were excited at the idea of being stuck in a flood. They were hoping that the floodwaters would go up so high that they would be stuck in the classroom without doing any schoolwork. It would be very exciting. Everybody stood at the window in the classroom to watch the flood getting higher and higher. Throughout the whole morning, the rain continued to fall and the water level was still rising.
