Idealism, the philosophical view that mind and spirit constitutes fundamental reality. Plato, Hegel is the well-known idealist. Many people admire idealism, but it usually leads to disappointment or trouble.

Idealism is something, which is fancied. It is what our conscious mind thinks, which is unaware of reality. The things that cannot be practically obtained are ideal. There is no co-relation between practical world and ideal world. But our expectations of converting it into ideal are so high that ultimately we end in disappointment.
