Jane Eyre is considered to be one of the most inspirational fictional independent woman character. Jane is portrayed in the book Jane Eyre as a plain woman who transforms herself into a remarkable woman who risks everything for love. However before she risked everything she becomes independent with the inheritance of 20,000 pounds from her Uncle John. An independent woman during that century was preposterous. Yet, Jane flabbergasted the world with her individuality at the age of twenty. It has been scientifically proven that character traits depend on a person genes and surroundings. Jane Eyre has lived in four very different kinds of settings.
Gateshead was the first home for Jane. Gatehead was the manor of her benefactress, Mrs. Reed, Jane’s aunt. Jane had three cousins: John, Georgiana, and Eliza. Her family was cruel and unjust.
