Many people are of the view that today's educators place too much emphasis on finding out what students want to include in the curriculum and then giving it to them. Rather, they feel that educators should determine the curriculum and students should just study what is presented to them. However, I believe that this view may not be entirely correct for the following reasons.
One, educators may be in a better position to decide what to include in the curriculum since they are the specialists in their respective subject areas and so would be more updated with the latest research in their respective fields.
