9-11, a Reflection


The events of September 11th 2001, will remain with those old enough to remember them for the rest of their lives. For years to come, Americans everywhere will recall where they were, what they were doing, and who they were with during the attacks of 9-11. The American Nation has said that we are united. The years following the attacks have shown this unification to be true. After the attacks, America was not in submission, nor at the mercy of the attackers. Instead America is stronger. The outpouring of volunteers and people who were willing to give their lives to help others in a time of need was incredible. Even though the intent of the terrorists was to weaken the American Spirit, it was in vain. Instead of weakening the nation we have grown stronger. We are united.
