Introduction

The following two commentaries include examples of entrepreneurs who have taken very different enterprises and used the same medium to sell their products. Carlotta Stankiewicz created a storefront enterprise to sell her goods and Jeffrey Sprecher created an on line energy trading enterprise to serve utility companies. Each has used the Internet as a marketing tool and they both used the four P’s of marketing – Price, Product, Promotion, and Place in order to make their business a success. Although each enterprise is very different in size and structure both have qualities to ensure a prosperous business
