Question one:

How could Victoria’s licensing scheme be developed in order to save lives?

If I had the opportunity to help develop Victoria’s licensing scheme I would develop it in the same way that it is in Germany. Having three months intense testing with assessment. But you can’t just expect this to be taught to the l-plates and p plates. There should be random driving tests given out to all drivers. In the article the instructor said and I quote “ when someone gets their p plates that’s it you never have to see the instructor again”. In my opinion I think that mentality should be eliminated and the TAC should keep an eye on all drivers even after they have long passed their test.

Question two:

A) The road safety campaigns or initiatives mentioned in the article are; the ATSB, Monash university accident research center, Vic roads and the traffic accident commission.
B) The other types of campaigns that are listed on the website are ATSB, Vic Roads, TAC, ...
