The novel offers a whole new view on modern American education. In the novel
Sidd realizes there is a major difference between being wise and being intelligent.
Intelligence is what is learned in school from books and lectures. Wisdom however is
what is learned from personal experiences. Sidd thinks wisdom is better to have then
