Yard Sale

A family of three; a mother, father and a young child, on my street have yard sales every two to three weeks during the summer months. You can feel a refreshing breeze cool your face from the warm summer sun. The smell of freshly cut grass permeates the air. There is no sign of their grass as you notice their personal items for sale. The lawn is entirely covered with TV’s, stereos, a few baby cribs, 3 or 4 strollers, two highchairs, telephones, records, furniture, a washing machine, dryer and even boxes of items for “only one dollar”. As I witness this common event, many questions start to develop. For example, where did they get all of this stuff? And why did they get this stuff only to sell it?
