In Emily Bronte’s novel Wuthering Heights, Nelly Dean serves as a confidante to Catherine Earnshaw, Isabella, and Catherine’s daughter Cathy.
One of the most crucial events in the novel occurs in chapter 9 with Nelly, Catherine, and Heathcliff.
