The Hindu religion is usually practised in the Indian sub-continent. Approximately 75% of people living in Indian are Hindu. Statistically, there are over 700 million Hindus, mainly in Bharat, and Nepal. Hinduism is referred to as Santana Dharma, the eternal faith. Hinduism is not strictly a religion. It is based on the practice of Dharma, the code of life. Since Hinduism has no creator, anyone who practices Dharma can call himself a Hindu. Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world.


The Russian Orthodox Church is more than one thousand years old. It has dioceses and parishes in Russia, Belarus, Moldova and many other countries. Since 1990 His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia have led it. During the time of the communists, the Orthodox church was not allowed to show its faith, now that the communist state has ended the churches are rebuilding and the people may pray once again.
