The Current Organizational Climate of Travis Air Force Base
When it absolutely, positively needs to be destroyed overnight, America calls on the United States Air Force. The Air Force, namely Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield California is where I am employed. The purpose of this paper is to acquaint the reader with my opinionated perception of the current organizational climate of the Air Force. Topics pertinent to my perception include communication, culture, conflict, and technology.
As one might be led to believe, the Air Force is slightly different than many typical companies commonly found in America today in regard to operation. This is demonstrated in the form of communication. Where traditional corporations do have a “chain of command”, it is usually not near as large or complex as that of the U.S. Air Force, and not as efficient when it comes to communication flow.
