Work Experience

As part of my fourth year course I went to the Carlton Hotel in Edinburgh. I got a self-placement because I was interested in what Hotel work was like, in a local Hotel.
I travelled by bus to the Village I was expected to work from 9am till 4pm but I didn’t get out at 4pm any of the time I was there. I either got out at quarter to 3 or 3 o’clock or quarter past 3.
Inside the Torrance Hotel looked nice. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday my supervisor was Alison Hanningon. She was moany and on Thursday and Friday my supervisor was Christine Laurie who was nice. I met a lot...
