Witness

The movie Witness, directed by Peter Weir, is full of action and suspense. It is about an Amish boy and his mother who journey from their hometown to Philadelphia, where the boy hopes to see many wonderful things. One of the things he witnesses, however, is the murder of an undercover police officer. Detective John Book is brought to investigate the situation and protect the boy, but when he uncovers a conspiracy leading all the way up to the top ranks, Book retreats with the boy and his mother to the Amish community in the Dutch Pennsylvanian countryside. It doesn’t take long for the villains to catch up with him.
