With Liberty and Justice for None
There is no justice. Or rather, there is "justice," but justice is merely a concept used by those who are so bound to their ideas of morality, of ethics and objective standards of acceptable behavior that they use it as a means to justify their untrained impulses toward revenge. The concept of justice was created so that their elaborate justifications and rules of common and definite morality, when breached, must have some consequence. Justice, and for that case, any belief in objective moral standards, is a crutch used by those who are unable to focus, accept, and wield their will; for those who are unable to design their own standards of morality fitting to themselves.
These are the men who can say, "You have sinned against ME and will be punished," rather than saying the punishment is "just" because they have committed a crime against humanity, some god, or some other higher moral law. The morally depraved are those who have transgressed tho...
