How do you feel when you win? On top of the world, I bet.
Winning, being successful and victorious. What a great feeling!
Good evening ladies, gentlemen and fellow students.
I’ve felt this winning experience, when my sister and I competed in a Rock ‘n’ roll competition. The build up to the final, the tense wait hoping your name will be called and then, with adrenalin pumping and your heart pounding, the ultimate excitement and elation when you hear your name called. You’ve won!! It’s one of the best feelings in the world.
Of course people do say winning is not everything, but, I can tell you, it sure beats second!
There are of course, many different ways to be a winner. You don’t have to win a marathon or invent something new. You can be a winner simply by trying hard and improving on your personal best.
