WIMBLEDON

Classes at school aren’t supposed to be that boring. Yet in my history class I couldn’t keep myself from dozing off once in a while. I was startled when somebody else coughed, I didn’t know that anyone else was awake. If there was ever a need for a cup of coffee it was right now. I tried sitting up and paying attention to the lecture on World War II. I glanced at my watch only to realize that there was still a whole hour of class left. How was I going to stay awake for one hour?
The only thought going through my head at the time was the Federer versus Phillopoussis match that was going to be played that night. The whole match seemed to be playing in my head. As time wore on I began to see Federer – the local boy and my personal favorite tennis player – in a sticky situation. He was two sets down with a score of 5-5 in the 3rd set.
